I recollect that in Kanpur, there was this I.A. S. officer N.N. Prasad, Vice Chairman of Kanpur Development Authority, a truly ugly man. He was publicity crazy like hell and not a day would pass before he would call the press and give some sort of interview to them highlighting some imaginary gallant deeds he was doing on the post. Millions of Rupees were distributed to the Press-walas through the Care taker of this cash rich but totally corrupt Authority. One leading newspaper magnate of Kanpur printed his interview on 3rd of October, 1999 praising him and the next day this ugly fellow sent a proposal to allot to the Newspaper owners a ten thousand plus square meter Garden Plot on the biggest Cremation Ghat of Kanpur for building a Multiplex Cinema cum Mall and finally allotted it to them."

TRIBUNAL, ILO
This request message is for Tribunal, ILO:
The World Intellectual Property Organization is known for injustice. There are many employees who are continuously on Short Term Contracts for years (minimum 5 to 12 years). It is not a normal practice and condemned widely.
It is heard that the Short Term Employment cases are not considered as the employee has signed the contract and is abide by the conditions given in the contract.
Normally, the employee has no choice so far as Contract is concerned. In general, the language of the contract should be in tune with the UN Common System and not according to the choice of the employer. The contract should not be biased and conditional just to protect the employer only. Right and Duties must be clear for both - employer and employee. So far as my knowledge is concerned, the conditions in the contract for Short Term Employees in WIPO is one sided only.
Recently in a case filed against WIPO, the language of the contract is challenged by the employee whose contract is terminated on false allegations.
I hope due attention will be paid to the "Contracts" whether it covers all legal obligations on the part of the organization. Signing a contract is secondary part of the contract, as employee has no choice.
The term "contract break" is misused in WIPO. There should be a common rule for the Contract Break.
I request the Administrative Tribunal, ILO that Contract and its terms be viewed in light of both Employer Vs Employees. The terms mentioned in the "Contract" should not favor the employer only.

The common system represnts common standards, methods and arrangements being applied to salaries, allowances and benefits for the staff of the United Nations, those specialized agencies which have entered into a relationship with the United Nations, the International Atomic Agency and a number of other international organizations. The common system is designed to avoid serios discrepancies in terms and conditions of employment, to avid competition in recruitment of personnel and to facilitate the interchange of personnel.

Campaign against the "Injustice" in WIPO
Dear Friends,
From today onward, I have started my long awaited campain against the existing INJUSTICE in wipo. I am a victim of the Director General, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Now I am uploading photos taken recently in front of the WIPO, United Nations and Freedom Fighter, Mahatma Gandhi.
I will put some videos expaling how the injstice is prevailed in WIPO and how the employees are under threat under this Director General or Dictator.
